Following the success of the first two editions, the partnership between SPEI, Vaud Promotion and EHL continues its commitment to digital innovation in the Vaud tourism sector. On March 13, the third edition of the program officially kicked off, full of enthusiasm and promise. This time, we are pleased to support four innovative projects, each designed to transform the region's tourism landscape through ground-breaking digital solutions.
New Projects in Focus
In this third edition, we are delighted to present four exciting projects: those of Lausanne Tourisme, Fondation du Château de Chillon, Alpine Regenerative Hubs and Ballons du Léman. These projects represent a diverse range of initiatives, from using AI for customer experience or marketing to promoting sustainability and regeneration in tourism.

Lausanne Tourisme: This project aims to improve the welcome of visitors to Lausanne by digitizing the "Expert Program". The aim is to broaden the scope of this existing program, offering reception professionals multi-channel, digital access to information about the destination. Hotel receptionists will be equipped with an interactive tool that deepens their knowledge of local offerings, improving the quality of the welcome given to guests and ensuring that visitors have access to comprehensive, up-to-date information about the city.

Fondation du Château de Chillon: As one of Switzerland's most emblematic historic sites, the Fondation du Château de Chillon is keen to integrate digital technology to enhance security and the visitor experience. By integrating AI-based surveillance, the Foundation aims to enhance security while optimizing operational costs. In addition, AI will be used to enhance the overall visitor experience, making their visit to the castle both seamless and memorable.

Alpine Regenerative Hubs: This project aims to transform alpine tourism into an engine for ecological restoration and community empowerment. The Alpine Regenerative Hubs platform will connect businesses, communities and travelers to fund and support local regeneration projects. With a focus on sustainability, this initiative seeks to make tourism a positive lever for the preservation and restoration of the Alpine environment.

Ballons du Léman: Specializing in hot-air balloon flights in French-speaking Switzerland, Ballons du Léman aims to use artificial intelligence to optimize its marketing strategy. An AI-based digital assistant will analyze various data sources to dynamically generate targeted marketing campaigns, including publications on social networks and prospect identification. With this tool, the company aims to increase its visibility and reach a wider audience, in order to attract more visitors to enjoy the unique experience of hot-air balloon flights.

The third edition of the program promises to be a key moment for these four Vaud-based players. Offering six months of personalized coaching and a CHF 5,000 innovation check, we look forward to helping these projects implement transformative digital solutions that will benefit the companies involved, as well as the entire tourism sector.
The collaborative spirit and innovative approach shared by these four projects testify to the immense potential of digital technologies to enhance the tourism experience, promote sustainability and stimulate business growth. We look forward to seeing these initiatives develop and evolve over the coming months.
